Matt has over twelve years of experience in the interactive, advertising and public relations industry.
Matt was director of emarketing at Devlin Applied Design, where he launched the first- ever MAC Cosmetics e-commerce web site in 1998, investigated DRM for Alliance Atlantis and helped launch MSN Hotmail and CIBC’s online banking. In 2000, Matt joined iLeo, the online and direct arm of Leo Burnett. Matt led the VISA business through the launch of their Canadian portal, as well as driving digital, promotional and direct campaigns for AOL, Wrigley and Maytag.
In 2002, Matt went to Tribal DDB to help build their Toronto office. Over 5 years, Matt was instrumental in driving key national accounts and developing award-winning integrated work for clients such as BMO InvestorLine, Canadian Tourism Commission, Energizer, Brita and Gatorade. During his tenure at Tribal DDB, the Toronto office grew from 1 to 20 people and won Digital Agency of the year in 2005.
Matt joined Proximity in 2007 as Vice President, Client Service Director, Interactive with a proven track record in integration and industry-leading digital solutions. In October of 2007 Matt was appointed VP, Interactive and in November 2009 to SVP, Managing Director.
