Philip Filippopoulos, was appointed Chief Financial Officer, BBDO Canada in 2001. A strategic focused operational and financial executive, Philip has been the architect of the reengineering of the BBDO Canada operations driving consistent financial profitability and growth for 25 consecutive quarters. Underlying the drive for success is a passion for people, the work, and culture. Philip is actively involved in all aspects of the business. Partnering with Gerry Frascione he sets and drives forward the national agenda for BBDO Canada. He provides leadership at all levels and throughout the organization ensuring alignment of objectives and attainment of goals.
In addition to Finance and Accounting, Philip oversees Operations, Legal, Tax, Administration, HR, as well as the Print and Broadcast studios.
Prior to BBDO Philip led the Corporate Finance & Accounting and IT groups at Omnicom Services building world class teams and processes.
During his 10 year tenure at Reader’s Digest in Montreal, Philip held a number of senior financial positions being promoted to Controller and subsequently to Director, Financial Planning & Analysis where he was responsible for working closely with other members of senior management in strategic business planning.
