BBDO Toronto and Proximity Canada fortify account teams by promoting two
Martina Ivsak and Stephanie Wall rewarded for demonstrated client passion and strategic leadership
TORONTO, March 4, 2009 – Dom Caruso, president and CEO of BBDO Toronto and Andrew Bailey, president and CEO of Proximity Canada are pleased to announce the promotion of Martina Ivsak to Vice-President, Group Account Director and Stephanie Wall to Vice-President Account Director. Ivsak will provide strategic direction and leadership for all integrated agency services on the Shaw Cablesystems and FedEx accounts and Wall will manage the digital and advertising strategy for the Pepsi QTG account.

Attracted to BBDO Toronto for its growth opportunities and the desire to work on the re-launch of the Fallsview Casino Resort, Martina Ivsak joined the agency in 2005 as Account Director. Passionate about her clients’ brand and their business success, Ivsak led the new positioning and campaign development that re-launched the brand.
Shortly after a year with a track record of building solid client relationships coupled with strong business results, Ivsak was promoted to VP, Account Director where she lead the strategic direction on the Shaw Cablesystems and FedEx accounts.. A strong motivator, she also led and mentored a dedicated account team through action oriented training and development programs.
Prior to her tenure at BBDO, Ivsak spent over six years at Cossette where she worked on brands including Bell Sympatico and McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada in mid to intermediate level account positions.
Over her thirteen year career, Ivsak has worked across many sectors including packaged goods, lottery, telecommunications, quick service restaurants, and high-tec.
Ivsak and the BBDO Toronto team were also the proud recipients of several awards for their recent work on the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The accolades included a total of five Marketing Awards, the prestigious Andy Rogers Award for the highest scoring public service announcement, two silver Advertising & Design Club of Canada (ADCC) awards, a silver Clio, and a Bessies award.
Stephanie Wall joined BBDO Toronto/Proximity Canada in May 2007 as an Account Director. She was excited by the agencies’ roster of clients, depth of interactive expertise and strategic benchpower Previously, Wall was at Taxi where she spent four years helping to grow the agency’s interactive portfolio.
In just over a year and a half at BBDO Toronto/Proximity Canada, Wall’s commitment to her work, client dedication and education, has garnered her a promotion to Vice-President, Account Director.,/P>

Wall’s decade of experience has enabled her to work across a number of disciplines including automotive, retail, financial services and consumer packaged goods. Notable accounts include Pepsi QTG, Nike, MINI Canada, AOL (US), LCBO, Canadian Tire, Telus and Westjet.
Wall has received a number of awards throughout her career including two Cannes Cyber Lions; a gold at the Digital Marketing Awards; two Advertising and Design Club of Canada (ADCC) awards; and a London International Advertising Award (LIA).
