Frito-Lay Canada and its agency partners BBDO/Proximity Canada were the Best of the Best at the 40th annual Canadian Marketing Association Awards on Friday night.

Frito-Lay’s “Viralocity” campaign for Doritos featured an online video contest that challenged budding filmmakers and Doritos’ lovers to grab a camera and go viral.

Consumers were invited to name Doritos’ newest flavor and promote it across social networking sites for a chance to nab the $250,000 grand prize. It was the second year the snackmaker had run the campaign. ...more...
